New Offices for a New Era

Accord Lift Services was conceived way back in 1983 and initially offered its services to larger lift company's; they were recognised for their skills in providing 'high level' technical support, particularly in fault resolution scenarios.

The support service quickly developed into a complete lift service aimed directly at clients of the lift industry; the business grew steadily, mainly through recommendation into one of the leading privately owned independent UK Lift Companies.

Their success in the market place attracted the attention of the CNIM Group, a major player in the fields of Transportation, Energy, Environment, Defence and Aerospace; the Paris based group acquired ownership of Accord Lift Services in June 2006.

Accord continued to develop under their new French owner's right up until February 2010, when they were acquired by the 'well respected' Schindler Group.

Schindler quickly recognised the fact that further investment in Accord would really accelerate the company to the highest echelons of the UK Independent sector; they decided to start by commissioning the complete refurbishment of the office building in Ash, near Sevenoaks in Kent.

Beacon Award

‘All change at the Borough’

Building managers, Consultants, Architects, Builders and their clients need complete faith in the abilities of their preferred lift service supplier.

Our previous track record supplying quality bespoke solutions to a wide range of clients, highlighted our capabilities to Tube Lines who were looking for a supplier that could deliver a design solution to problems they were experiencing at an existing site.

Our performance on that project secured our place on the Tender invitation list for both Borough and Kennington stations.

Accord are proud to have been the lift contractor of choice on this pioneering project refurbishing PMVT at Borough Station.

This was an extremely challenging assignment in terms of design, involving the integration of new technology with existing equipment.

Utilising our industry leading expertise, we were able to ensure the station remained operational whilst the works were being carried out, minimising disruption to passengers.

'A Lift fit for a King'

New Branch Office for Accord

Accord Lift Services Limited is delighted to announce the opening of a Northern Regional office in Oldham.

The new branch office will be managed by John Cawley, who previously worked for ThyssenKrupp Elevator and is well versed in the Operations and Sales aspect of our industry. John will be responsible for the provision of planned and reactive maintenance services, repairs, modernisations and new installations.

Managing Director, Liam Raftery said: “The new Branch Office is in an excellent location, just 15 minutes drive from Manchester City Centre and just off Junction 21 of the M60, giving easy access to the entire regional motorway network.

I believe that our presence in this area will enable us to continue the company’s stated objectives of supplying a prompt, professional and efficient service to our Clients.”
